  General Awareness Programmes

VDC has been organised training programmes, workshops on Community and family support for Disabled people, awareness on HIV/AIDS, Rights of Consumers, and Role of Youth in rural development, Migration problems among Handloom weaving community and Children’s programme.

Project Area:
75 villages in Mannachanallur, Musiri, Turaiyur, Lalgudi blocks in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamilnadu, India.

VDC is involved in realizing the rights under social security schemes for the unorganized workers since 1998.
VDC has been involving in the release and rehabilitation of child and bonded labours in Trichy and Karur districts since 1997.
There are now 150 women SHG with a total 
membership of 2,365. It is spread over 42 villages in Mannachanallur, Musiri and Thuraiyur blocks of Tiruchirappalli district.
