    About Us

VDC is proud of having time-honoured association with its partner communities, especially among children, women, gem workers and farming community. The past two decades have witnessed noticeable changes and remarkable progress among them thanks to the establishment of participatory governing structures and planned interventions. This year too is an eventful year for VDC. At this juncture, we affirm our commitment towards their socio-economic development.

 

 

VDC is involved in realizing the rights under social security schemes for the unorganized workers since 1998.
VDC has been involving in the release and rehabilitation of child and bonded labours in Trichy and Karur districts since 1997.
There are now 150 women SHG with a total 
membership of 2,365. It is spread over 42 villages.
